Day 7

Today was amazing, i knew i was going to spend the day helping with a Topman photoshoot so i was very excited. I met with a girl named Rosie and she took us to the location of the shoot to wait for the model, photographer, stylist and makeup artist. The location was outside so it was very cold. The model Jasper had to get changed outside in the streets of Oxford street. I felt sorry for him as i could see his hands turning purple. We then went for lunch and came back and did 3 more changes. We couldn't do anymore because the sun was going in. We went back to the new studio to shoot some sunglasses on Jasper and also Agi and Sam shirts. I loved seeing the Agi and Sam shirts as they are a favourite designer of mine. I would love to spend more time in the studio because i find it really interesting to watch.

Day 6

Today i did work for Ellie, Topman had about 12 boards that needed to be photographed and put on the computer. Because i wanted the boards to be clear, i photographed little sections and rearranged them on photoshop. I was happy Ellie loved them, i printed them off and left them on her desk.

Day 5

When i arrived in the office, there was nothing really to do for 15 minutes, and Louise came over and told us to go to the last day of the Mens London Collection and street snap because to help with inspiration for the company. I was really excited about this. The only thing was that i wasnt expecting to do this so i didnt have my SLR, we ended up using my iphone camera, and i think a few people didn't like the look of that so they declinded me taking a photo. I ended up getting some nice outfit shots anyway. Next time i'll try and take my camera out more often because you never know what you're doing for the day. The Mens collections has made me so excited for London fashion week and i'm hoping i get to street snap there too.

Day 4

Today i got set a task to research what Menswear S/S 13 fashion was coming up. Which would be inspiration for the designs. I looked at mostly print, structure and shape. I did this task all day and it was pretty long, it would have been nice to maybe have a break and do something else, but i got good praise from my work so that made me feel better.

Day 3 - LCM Fashion show

Today was an amazing day. I got into the office and waited for Micheal to call and say he needed help, so me and the other 2 interns went to backstage to the Topman show. We didnt actually help, the atmosphere was really calm to say it was the day of the fashion show. It was a nice suprise to see one of the models i know catwalking and wearing the clothes Topman have been working on. After the show we got told to come into Stephs, which is the resterant opposite the office and everyone from Topman design were there, it was nice to sit with everyone and feel part of the team.

Day 2 at Topman
